SAN ANTONIO - Lance Ten Broeck completed his round at the Valero Texas Open, then returned to her position cadet.
The former player of regular PGA Tour, now aged 53, shot a 70 on Friday. He then carried the bag Jesper Parnevik for the rest of the afternoon at La Cantera Golf Club.
Ten Brock was enrolled as a cadet Jesper Parnevik, but was called in reinforcements Thursday. The surprise was such that Ten Broeck had to borrow sticks and buy appropriate clothing in a shopping center near the ground.
At the end of the round, it was a blow above normal, and had a total of 141 strokes in two rounds. Although it was not an easy task to achieve to qualify, Ten Broeck did not seem too upset to be eliminated and join Parnevik.
Ten Broeck, who became cadet there a decade, said "it was something I had always wanted to do," and that he "would not let the opportunity pass."
